The Onassis Foundation is seeking a Financial Associate to oversee the financial performance and reporting of its F&B and retail operations. The role will provide management with timely, accurate and actionable financial insights, supporting business performance monitoring, risk management and decision-making.

 Main responsibilities:

• Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, profitability, gross margin, cash flow and key business KPIs
• Perform Budget vs Actual analysis, identify variances and provide insights on business performance and trends
• Review and validate financial and operational data received from accounting teams, business units and external partners
• Monitor sales performance, POS activity, cash reconciliations, inventory and cost control processes
• Assess store performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability, margins and operational efficiency
• Identify financial and operational risks and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare monthly management reports, dashboards and ad hoc financial analyses
• Support forecasting, budgeting and business planning activities
• Act as a key liaison between operations, accounting teams, external advisors and management

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
• 4-5 years of experience in Financial Accounting. Previous experience in F&B and retail operations, ideally in multi-site environments, will be considered a strong advantage
• Strong understanding of financial statements, P&L analysis and cash flow management
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems, reporting tools and myDATA
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills
