EU Proposal Writer (Hybrid)

On behalf of our client, a fast-growing consulting firm with more than 10 years of experience, specializing in economic studies, IT, and EU-funded programs, we are looking for an experienced EU Proposal Writer to join their team in Thessaloniki.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and prepare comprehensive proposals for EU-funded programs, particularly those involving municipalities and public institutions.
  • Manage national and EU-funded projects
  • Coordinate and monitor project implementation and activities
  • Communicate with partners and funding authorities
  • Prepare interim and final reports
  • Monitor financial progress in collaboration with the finance team
  • Contribute to the development of project deliverables and organization of events
  • Research and submit funding proposals related to the company's activities
  • Develop project ideas and identify appropriate partners
  • Draft and submit funding applications
  • Participate in meetings both domestically and internationally (availability for travel is required 1-2times/year)

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
  • At least 2 years of experience in EU proposal writing
  • Proven experience in writing, managing, and/or implementing at least 10 EU or national funding programs (e.g. REC, Erasmus+, Horizon 2020, INTERREG, NSRF, EEA Grants)
  • Fluency in both Greek and English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT tools
  • Strong multitasking and deadline management skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities, professionalism, and consistency
  • Experience in evaluating EU programs is considered a strong asset
