EU Proposal Writer (Hybrid)

On behalf of our client, a fast-growing consulting firm with more than 10 years of experience, specializing in economic studies, IT, and EU-funded programs, we are looking for an experienced EU Proposal Writer to join their team in Thessaloniki.

Responsibilities:

Draft and prepare comprehensive proposals for EU-funded programs, particularly those involving municipalities and public institutions.
Manage national and EU-funded projects
Coordinate and monitor project implementation and activities
Communicate with partners and funding authorities
Prepare interim and final reports
Monitor financial progress in collaboration with the finance team
Contribute to the development of project deliverables and organization of events
Research and submit funding proposals related to the company's activities
Develop project ideas and identify appropriate partners
Draft and submit funding applications
Participate in meetings both domestically and internationally (availability for travel is required 1-2times/year)

Candidate Profile:

Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution
At least 2 years of experience in EU proposal writing
Proven experience in writing, managing, and/or implementing at least 10 EU or national funding programs (e.g. REC, Erasmus+, Horizon 2020, INTERREG, NSRF, EEA Grants)
Fluency in both Greek and English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT tools
Strong multitasking and deadline management skills
Excellent organizational abilities, professionalism, and consistency
Experience in evaluating EU programs is considered a strong asset
