IT Support Officer

Job Description:

The job holder will work in the IT Support department and will directly report to the IT Support Supervisor.

The main responsibilities of the role include actively participating in the smooth operation of the department, providing technical troubleshooting for user issues, supporting business-critical software, and contributing to the achievement of the department's goals.

Duties:

  • Technical user support on company’s  sites (on site or remotely).
  • Managing technical requests through \via ticketing system.
  • Escalating unresolved issues to higher support levels (Second Level Support).
  • Software installation/upgrades/maintenance (MS Office, MS Windows, Mac OS, email, etc.), troubleshooting on Windows, Mac OS, VPN.
  • Good knowledge in networking.
  • Good knowledge of security systems and VPN.
  • On-site support (desktop and mobile phones, printers, etc.).
  • Management of IT equipment (preparation and configuration).
  • Managing\supporting meeting conferences.
  • User trainings as required (for equipment and applications).
  • Following company's Core IT processes.
  • IT Asset Management.
  • Application support for business and production-related software, including troubleshooting, basic configuration and user guidance, in collaboration with higher-level support teams when required.
  • Participation in a 24/7 on-call support rotation.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Provide ΙΕΚ\TEI Computer Science or a related field degree.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft 365.
  • Basic knowledge of managing local LAN/WiFi networks.
  • Good knowledge of computer hardware.
  • Very good communication skills in English language.
  • Technology literate with basic knowledge of office automation and remote support tools.
  • Experience in providing application support for business-related software and user-facing applications.
  • Team spirit and collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple incidents.
  • Good knowledge of asset management.
  • Client Oriented attitude.

 

 

Desired qualifications

Good Knowledge of Sharepoint / OneDrive
