Electronics Test Engineer

As an Electronics Test Engineer, you will join the Electronics Group of Theon’s Design and Development Department and be responsible for testing and documenting test results of advanced electro-optical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Developing test plans to validate electronic systems against design requirements and specifications.
  • Design test setups and equipment such as measurement and data acquisition systems, custom test hardware and companion software.
  • Perform failure root cause analysis, present results, and provide feedback to the design engineers to optimize designs and PCBA production.
  • Perform PCBA rework to support testing and failure analysis.
  • Automate, write user guides and transfer the test systems to the production line.

Qualifications

  • Experience as an electronics test (or design) engineer.
  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronic/Software Engineering.
  • Experience developing software for test systems. Comfortable with Scripting, C/C++, and development of GUI applications.
  • Familiar with PCB design.
  • Ability to use lab equipment like debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Experience with test Jig and fixture design.
  • Experience in soldering.
