Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Group Marketing and Communication Director with a proven track record in a publicly traded company to join our team and lead our Marketing, PR and Communication strategies. The ideal candidate will bring broad working experience from an Industrial or High-Tech organization and will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing and communication strategic plans, specifically tailored to the technology sector, overseeing marketing campaigns, analyzing market trends, enhance the public image and reputation of the Group, ensuring that all communication efforts align with the company's mission, values, and objectives, particularly in the sensitive and high-stakes context of the defence sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies that align with the Group Strategy and Goals.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities and clients feedback to lead our marketing strategies.
- Enhance the Group public image and branding through effective marketing, communication and public relations campaigns.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of press releases, media kits, and other communication materials.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, industry partners, community organizations and our internal investors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives, industry analysts, and other key stakeholders.
- Plan and ensure smooth coordination of company events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all platforms.
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing and communication professionals.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on communication metrics and KPIs, making recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- A Master Degree in Communication will be considered a plus.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience preferably within a publicly traded company.
- Experience in the defense industry or high technology sector is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR and communication strategies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
- Strong media relations skills and a robust network of media contacts.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and result oriented corporate environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.
