Theon Sensors is seeking a motivated and skilled professional to join our team as CNC Turning Machine Operator-Programmer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the programming, operation, and quality control of precision components used in advanced optical instruments. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a hands-on environment and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology.
Responsibilities:
- Program and operate CNC milling machines or/and CNC Turning-Lathe based on technical specifications and blueprints.
- Design and prepare CAM programs (Computer-Aided Manufacturing).
- Inspect initial samples to ensure they meet required quality standards and tolerances.
- Adjust and maintain machines to prevent delays and malfunctions.
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve production processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC Milling Machine Operator-Programmer.
- Proficiency in programming with G and M codes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of CAM software (e.g., Fusion, Hypermill).
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing precision components.
- CNC certification is an additional asset.
- Basic knowledge of English.
