IT Solutions Architect

As an IT Solution Architect you will be responsible for designing and integrating technology solutions to meet specific business needs.

Main tasks:

• Meet with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Create architectural designs and blueprints for IT solutions, considering factors like scalability, security, performance, availability and cost-effectiveness.
• Research and evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to determine their suitability for the organization's needs.
• Work closely with other members of the IT team, including developers, engineers, and project managers, to ensure that the solution aligns with overall objectives and standards.
• Document architectural decisions, design patterns, and technical specifications for reference and future maintenance.
• Communicate technical concepts and solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders, including clients and business executives, to assist the business in meeting their business objectives including technology transformation and changes to service, process and/or operating models
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the field of IT architecture.
• Work with external vendors and service providers to integrate third-party solutions into the overall architecture.
• Analyze the performance and design of deployed solutions and make recommendations for optimizations or improvements as needed.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior architects and other team members to help them develop their skills and expertise.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of Information Technology
• Experience in similar presales position or in Senior IT engineer role
• Excellent knowledge and experience in designing and integrating IT solutions (Infrastructure Modernization, HCI, Virtualization, Data Protection, CyberResilience, Disaster Recovery Cloud migrations / Hybrid implementation on Azure etc)
• Excellent knowledge of English (both written & spoken)

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in response to public and private sector tenders
• Experience in implementation or PoCs of similar integration solutions
• Experience in Hybrid/Cloud solutions (Azure or AWS)
• Relevant vendor certifications
