Senior IT Field Engineer

Job description: On-site technical support and implementation of IT projects for clients.

Main tasks:

• Implement integration projects in end-user environments, including infrastructure installation, configuration, image creation, deployments, migrations, and validation
• Provide on-site technical support, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of servers and storage systems
• Support and manage Windows Server operating systems
• Troubleshoot and repair enterprise hardware and peripherals
• Perform firmware upgrades, health checks, and preventive maintenance
• Maintain action logs, technical documentation, and reports
• Collaborate with vendors for RMA procedures and technical escalations

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 3 years of proven experience in a Field Support or Systems Support role (mid- or senior-level)
• Experience with SAN/NAS storage systems (HPE, Dell EMC, Lenovo ThinkSystem, NetApp)
• Very good knowledge of Windows Server, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Intune/SCCM and endpoint management
• Proven experience in integration projects within end-user environments (deployments, migrations, troubleshooting, cutovers)
• Ability to manage and support client applications (on-premise & cloud) in a Windows environment
• Excellent command of English (both written & spoken)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)
• Knowledge of technologies Experience in virtualization (VMware ESXi, vCenter, Hyper-V)
• Experience in scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
