SCYTALYS is currently looking for a skilled Hardware Engineer passionate about their field of work.

 

(Responsibilities) About the role / What you can expect:

  • Performs detailed analyses of task(s) requirements 
  • Writes hardware related documents in accordance with the Company’s Engineering Documentation Standards 
  • Define and identify the required hardware components required for the system and/or products 
  • Define Integrated Logistics Support for system and/or products which includes spare calculations, etc. 
  • Define hardware maintenance procedure and training for the system and/or products 
  • Perform site installation, equipment checkout and test according to the system and project requirements 
  • Integrates hardware (Company designed and purchased) with other hardware to form a complete system or enhance system capabilities and performance 
  • Supports test teams through the system integration and acceptance test phases 
  • Advises Company management regarding perceived and/or recognized problems with performance of designed hardware and/or system development 
  • Supports installation and check-out on-site and hotline service or warranty/upgrade works at the installed systems 
  • Should the need arise, works towards their team’s goals carrying out tasks that may befall outside their field of expertise as best as they can  
  • Perform hardware design review 
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to client sites across different locations
  • Valid driver's license and passport

 

Required Skills:

  • BSc or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field 
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in using electronics circuitry and design with proven track record 
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in the use of electronic test equipment like oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc 
  • Advanced knowledge of Computer networking 
  • Good interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team 
  • Have at least 5+ years of experience
