Production Development Manager

#About the role

We are seeking a driven and strategic Production Development Manager to design, develop, test, and support mechanical systems and components in the defense sector, such as military vehicles, weapon systems, and subsystems. Will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet technical and operational requirements and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design and develop engineering solutions for defense equipment applications.
  • Participate in Research & Development (R&D) projects for new products and technologies.
  • Prepare technical studies, CAD/CAE designs, and specifications.
  • Participate in testing activities, evaluate results, and prepare technical documentation.
  • Support the production process and coordinate with procurement and quality control departments.
  • Manage technical documentation, reports, and compliance files.
  • Participate in certification programs and ensure compliance with military specifications (e.g., MIL-STD, NATO STANAG).
  • Liaise with clients, military authorities, and organizations for product technical support.

The ideal candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a vehicle or mechanical equipment/component manufacturing facility.
  • Proficient in CAD/CAE tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX, AutoCAD).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel within Greece and abroad.
  • Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Prior experience in the defense or aerospace industry.
  • Familiarity with project management tools.
  • Knowledge/understanding of military standards and specifications.
