With a leading presence in the Greek business ecosystem for over a century, Saracakis Group of Companies, is always looking for passionate people to join our team. We are currently seeking to hire a: Infrastructure Systems Engineer. 

#Key responsibilities

• Ensure the availability, performance and reliability of the company’s server, virtualization, storage and backup infrastructure.
• Administer Active Directory and identity management services, including users, groups, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, hybrid identity synchronization and access management.
• Manage and monitor corporate network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs and wireless connectivity.
• Administer enterprise firewalls, security policies, rule reviews, VPN access and remote site connectivity.
• Act as the main point of contact between the ICT Supervisor and the IT team, providing regular updates on system health, outstanding issues and project progress.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Azure and hybrid messaging environments.
• Lead and contribute to infrastructure upgrades, consolidation and modernization projects.
• Design, maintain and regularly test backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Oversee system patching, lifecycle management and security hardening across all systems and network devices.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, operating procedures and network and infrastructure diagrams.
• Work within a hybrid enterprise IT environment, covering Windows Server virtualization, high-availability clustering, enterprise storage and SAN infrastructure, backup and disaster recovery solutions, Microsoft 365, Azure, Microsoft SQL Server, file services, enterprise LAN/WAN networking, next-generation firewalls, VoIP and contact center telephony.

What will you bring to our team 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Hyper-V, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange, Azure (Entra ID, Intune, IaaS) and enterprise backup & recovery solutions.
• Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs), firewall administration and enterprise storage (SAN).
• Knowledge of SQL Server, Linux, VoIP and PKI / Certificate Services.
• Experience in PowerShell scripting and IT process automation.
• Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with and support colleagues.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft, Azure, Windows Server, CCNA or equivalent networking and cybersecurity certifications.
