Our services span project and construction management, infrastructure planning and design, technical consultancy and digital solutions, working with public authorities, international institutions and private clients across all phases of project delivery.

We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our infrastructure consulting team, with a primary focus on the review, assessment, and technical supervision of design studies for transport and civil infrastructure projects, including highways, roads, ports, and related works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate designs for highways, roads, ports, and related civil infrastructure projects.
  • Assess compliance of design submissions with Greek legislation, international standards, and contract requirements.
  • Review geometric design, alignments, cross-sections, pavement, drainage, and earthworks designs.
  • Identify design risks, inconsistencies, or constructability issues and propose technical recommendations.
  • Coordinate with designers, contractors, and client representatives to clarify comments and support design approvals.
  • Participate in technical meetings and design review workshops with stakeholders.
  • Support project teams during tender and construction phases with design-related technical input.
  • Prepare technical review reports, comments, and recommendations.
  • Ensure proper documentation and traceability of design review processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in highway and infrastructure projects, including involvement in design studies or design review activities.
  • Strong understanding of road and transport infrastructure design principles.
  • Experience with infrastructure projects such as highways, roads, ports, or similar civil works.
  • Familiarity with Greek and international design standards and regulations.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D (for review and verification purposes) & MS Office for technical reporting and documentation.
  • Experience with specialized road design software will be considered an asset.
  • Excellent command of both Greek and English language (written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and professional judgment.
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary consulting teams.
