Project Manager Railway Systems

Our services span project and construction management, infrastructure planning and design, technical consultancy and digital solutions, working with public authorities, international institutions and private clients across all phases of project delivery.

We are looking for a skilled Railway Project Manager to lead and deliver railway system projects from conception to completion. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee project execution, and ensure compliance with European railway regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and direct railway system projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget.

• Define project scopes, develop execution plans, and manage risk and resources.

• Lead project teams, delegate tasks, and coach local team members.

• Monitor progress against cost, schedule, and quality baselines.

• Ensure compliance with European regulations for railway operation, safety, and interoperability.

• Resolve conflicts and manage expectations with stakeholders at national and international levels.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in railway systems project management, with at least 7 years’ experience in similar position and/or international projects.
• Expertise in train control systems (ETCS, ATP), signalling (interlockings, turnouts, signals), catenary, SCADA, and telecom systems.
• Project management certification (PMP or similar) is highly valued.
• Fluent in both Greek & English language is mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal, moderation, and intercultural skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
