Tendering Engineer

Our services span project and construction management, infrastructure planning and design, technical consultancy and digital solutions, working with public authorities, international institutions and private clients across all phases of project delivery.

We are seeking a highly motivated Tenders / Proposals Engineer with solid experience in an engineering or consulting environment to support the preparation, coordination, and submission of competitive proposals for public and private sector projects. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full lifecycle of tendering and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire tender lifecycle, from receipt of RFP documents to proposal preparation, submission, clarifications, and support up to contract award.
• Review, interpret, and analyze tender requirements, ensuring full compliance with administrative, legal, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate and consolidate input from internal departments (engineering, finance, legal, operations) to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with external partners, joint-venture members, and subcontractors for technical and commercial inputs.
• Prepare and structure all administrative documentation, declarations, and forms required for tender submissions.
• Contribute to the drafting and formulation of technical proposals, methodologies, work plans, and CVs of key experts.
• Organize, maintain, and update the company’s tender documentation archive and knowledge library.
• Prepare fit-for-purpose presentations and support business development activities with high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Engineering; a Master’s degree will be considered an asset.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in tenders/proposals preparation within an engineering or consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Greek public procurement legislation (N. 4412/2016) and public procurement platforms (ESIDIS / ESHDHS).
• Excellent command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in Greek and English (written and oral).
• Strong analytical capabilities and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with proven ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
• Strong presentation skills with experience in preparing and delivering compelling client presentations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive mindset, problem-solving attitude, and commitment to high-quality deliverables.
