Buyer (Supply Chain Management) in Drama, Greece

Scope:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our team in Drama, Greece. The position involves procuring materials to support our manufacturing facility.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
2-3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of SAP and MRP systems.
Experience in international business and contract management is beneficial.
Understanding of ISO9001 Quality Management System.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Good command of English (oral and written).
Ability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities:

Source and qualify new vendors; assist in contract finalization.
Support tenders and negotiations for materials, aiming for cost efficiency.
Maintain vendor relationships and assist in managing the vendor portfolio.
Coordinate with R&D, Sales, and Production on material requirements and product changes.
Assist with Material Requirement Planning in SAP.
Help plan and monitor inventory levels.
Place and track purchase orders, ensuring timely fulfillment.
Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Sales on material availability.
