About the role

As the IT Administrator at PHĀEA, you are essential in maintaining and enhancing our hotel's technology infrastructure. You are responsible for keeping our systems running smoothly, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and up to date. Each day, you'll tackle diverse challenges, from troubleshooting technical issues to providing support to our staff. Your role is pivotal in implementing IT projects that improve our operational efficiency and elevate guest services. In this position, you're not just maintaining systems; you're actively shaping the technological experience of both staff and guests at PHĀEA.

Job Fit- Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Train staff on new technologies and IT systems, ensuring they are comfortable and proficient in their use.
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation and manuals for users.
  • Administer servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
  • Participate in IT projects, contributing to the planning and implementation of new IT solutions.
  • Stay informed about the latest technology trends and advancements relevant to the hospitality industry.

Must-Have

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience as an IT Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Certifications such as Cisco CCNA or MikroTik MTCNA.
  • Experience working in the hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Opera PMS, SoftOne ERP/CRM, Twinsoft Orexsys.
