About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team in Brussels, to address the market of EU Institutions and International Organizations, and NATO.
If you have strong communication skills, you are business minded and have a drive to increase business, then we want to hear from you.
As an Account Manager you'll be concerned with improving and growing ICT business, by fostering and developing relationships with key customers, consultants and other partners.
Duties & responsibilities
- Drive ICT business with existing and new customers.
- Build strong relationships with our clients to address their needs and challenges.
- Lead origination of new opportunities at our clients, actively working together with our Presales, Solution Architecture and Service Delivery teams.
- Drive and closing new business opportunities.
- Manage the end-to-end sales and business development process.
- Coordinate with internal working groups (recruiting, procurement, legal).
- Build strong relationship with partners, suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Prepare sales plan to deliver growth, revenue and margin targets.
- Take responsibility/ownership of pipeline development, accurate monthly forecasting and revenue delivery.
Required Skills
You are the right candidate if you have:
- More than two (2) years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, Service Delivery Management or Project Management in EU Institutions, or four (4) years for Senior candidates.
- Knowledge of processes and procedures of EU Institutions and Agencies (e.g. DIGIT TM).
- Understanding of IT Technology trends (Cloud, Cybersecurity, AI).
- Broad network and excellent communications skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to establish relationships of trust with clients and partners.
- Ability to lead and work effectively in a virtual team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time productively.
- Fluency in English and the ability to address an international audience.
- Knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
