About the role
As a Mobile End-to-Εnd System / Core Network Senior Engineer, you will be part of a very competent team that designs, develops and is responsible for the lifecycle of a pan-European mobile network. You will be stationed in Athens, Greece and interact with a local and an international team.
Duties & Responsibilities
You will take part in the following System/Core activities:
- Network Architecture & Design
- Network Configuration & Development
- Modernization/Evolution
- Solution Designs
- Project Management of SW Upgrades/Patches
- HW/SW Acceptance Activities
- Liaising with Supplier on Technical Activities
Required skills
- BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications
- Very good knowledge of Mobile Core Networks
- Good end-to-end knowledge of mobile networks
- Very good knowledge of Routing & Switching
- At least 5 years of working experience in the Telecoms sector
- Very good knowledge of English language (at least B2 in verbal/writing abilities)
- Very good technical writing skills (in Greek and English)
- Analytical thinking
- Target-orientation
- Demonstration of professionalism, positive attitude and team spirit
- MS Office applications experience
- Capability of working under pressure
- Project management skills
Preferred skills
- Working experience at a Mobile Network Operator
- Experience in end-to-end System Engineering
- Knowledge of:
- IP Protocols
- Services over IP
- Policy and Charging Control
- Network Security
- Cisco Routers/Switches
- Cloudification
- QoS
- Very good skills in the development and delivery of technical presentations
