Risk & Reporting Associate

ASOFIN Management AG [part of Onassis Group of companies] is looking for a Risk & Reporting Associate, based in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, who will be responsible for delivering in-depth portfolio analysis, monitoring, and reporting across diverse investment portfolios, and collaborate with the Investments team to provide insights, enabling company’s investment strategy. 

 

Main responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement a robust reporting framework using Portfolio Management Systems to provide real-time, accurate insights on portfolio performance and risk
  • Create and maintain detailed portfolio reports for both liquid and illiquid assets, including performance metrics, allocation breakdowns, and risk assessments
  • Ensure data integrity through regular audits and reconciliation with custodians, third-party managers, and internal teams to maintain accuracy across all reports
  • Assist in the portfolio construction process by conducting benchmarking analysis, comparing portfolio performance against relevant benchmarks, and identifying performance drivers
  • Perform quantitative analysis and back-testing of investment strategies to optimize portfolio performance relative to benchmarks
  • Contribute to refining the asset allocation and portfolio construction framework, providing actionable insights to inform investment decisions
  • Monitor and report on portfolio risk metrics, ensuring that risk levels align with the investment strategy and objectives
  • Incorporate risk management into portfolio reporting by executing stress tests, Value at Risk (VAR) analysis, and other risk-adjusted performance metrics

 

Requirements

Eligible candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, CQF) are strongly preferred.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in asset management, wealth management, or family office settings, with direct exposure to portfolio monitoring, risk management, reporting, or investment analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling, quantitative analysis, and performance benchmarking, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong proficiency in coding and data manipulation tools (e.g., Power BI, Python, R, SQL), with the ability to support quantitative analysis and automate processes efficiently.
  • Experience with portfolio management systems, such as Advent APX or Addepar, is highly desirable.
