Social Media Editor

Onassis Foundation is looking for a highly motivated professional to join our team as a Social Media Editor, contributing to a dynamic and multifaceted range of initiatives across the Onassis Group.

Main responsibilities:

  • Create and curate compelling content (photos, videos, captions) tailored to each social platform
  • Manage daily publishing and ensure a consistent tone and aesthetic
  • Engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages
  • Contribute fresh, creative ideas that enhance the brand’s social presence and keep content relevant, timely, and culturally connected
  • Develop and monitor the growth of social media networks and audiences
  • Support the development and execution of the social media strategy
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging is aligned and consistent

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.  A relevant Master's degree would be an additional asset
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in content creation and copywriting for social media platforms, as well as in social media analytics
  • Proven ability to craft creative and engaging content across formats—video, images, and text
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Greek
  • In-depth knowledge of key social platforms including TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Strong understanding of audience targeting and segmentation within social media ecosystems
