Associate Accountant
ASOFIN Management SA [part of Onassis Group of companies] is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Accountant to join our Accounting team and support the full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting activities across multiple Group entities.
Main responsibilities include:
• Preparing journal entries related to fixed assets, purchases, operational expenses and other accounting transactions
• Performing reconciliations for bank statements, accounts receivable/payable, fixed assets register, and other ledger accounts
• Supporting the daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing
• Preparing monthly internal financial reports
• Liaising with external parties including suppliers, clients, banks, as well as internal departments
• Invoicing and processing of payments
• Experienced in issues related to myData (e-books) environment
• Supporting the preparation of monthly cash flow reports
• Supporting the preparation of the annual individual financial statements
• Supporting the preparation, submission, and compliance of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations
Requirements
Eligible candidates should meet the following requirements:
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Auditing or Business Administration
• Postgraduate degree or an accounting professional qualification will be considered an asset
• Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant position
• Excellent command of all MS Office Applications
• Fluency in English language (verbal and written)
