Senior Manager – Clubs Onassis Schools

Onassis Foundation is looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Manager – Clubs Onassis Schools to lead the design, implementation, and overall quality of the Clubs operating in Public Onassis Schools.

In this role, he/she will be responsible for the strategic planning and operational oversight of the Clubs, ensuring pedagogical coherence, consistent delivery, high educational quality, and full alignment with the vision and values of the Public Onassis Schools.

Main responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously update a unified strategy for all Clubs across Public Onassis Schools
  • Translate the educational and social vision of the program into a structured, measurable, and sustainable implementation model
  • Define operating frameworks, objectives, and quality indicators for all Clubs
  • Ensure alignment of the Clubs with the educational, cultural, and social mission of the Public Onassis Schools, in full compliance with the curriculum of the Ministry of Education
  • Strategically select, develop, and manage partnerships with educational, cultural, academic, and social organizations
  • Oversee the development of educational content, trainings, and outreach activities related to the approved Clubs
  • Ensure that all collaborations contribute to the long-term value and social impact of the program
  • Establish evaluation mechanisms and feedback processes involving students, educators, and schools
  • Hold overall responsibility for annual and multi-year budgets (CAPEX & OPEX)
  • Ensure operational readiness of the Clubs each school year and supervise systems for data collection and analysis (participation, cost, impact)

Requirements

  • University degree in Educational Management, Education, and/or Social Sciences
  • A postgraduate degree from a recognized university in a field relevant to the Public Onassis Schools program is strongly preferred
  • 5 + years of experience in a senior leadership role combining strategic and operational responsibility in the education sector
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, multidisciplinary teams, and financial budgets
  • Experience in large-scale educational, cultural, or social programs will be considered a strong asset
  • Excellent communication skills in both the English & the Greek Language
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives, balancing strategic objectives with operational execution
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and school communities, fostering trust, alignment, and shared ownership of educational outcomes
