Quality Assurance Leader

based in Ritsona

What you will be doing

The position will report to Quality Assurance Manager and will be responsible for the effective supervision of the Quality Assurance operations. Deliver a safe and effective place of work with focus on quality, service and cost, with continuous improvement of performance.

Detailed tasks specification:

• Supervise Quality Assurance operations to ensure high quality and effective operations with effective cost control
• Responsible for Quality Control (chemical, microbiological and taste analysis results from materials receipt to finished products)
• Plan, organize and supervise laboratory functions and activities
• Manage sampling plans, data analyses and test results
• Responsible for all quality systems, food safety system and legal standards
• Ensure all legislative requirements associated with Quality and Food safety and all applicable Quality and Food Safety Standards
• Perform Quality trainings on quality checks and provide constant coaching to operational teams

What we are looking for

• University degree in Chemistry, Food Chemistry or Chemical Engineering

• MBA or MSc considered to be an asset

• 3 years of experience in Quality and at least 2 years of experience with a proven record in the FMCG sector and 2 of which at supervisory level

• Experience in management systems, ISO 9001 and FSCC 22000 or related food safety systems recognized by GFSI

• Fluency in English and proficiency in MS Office 

• Advanced analytical thinking 

• Driving for results & Communicating with impact

• Structured, quick-thinking, decision making
