During this period, we seek to recruit a professional for the following position:
IT & Network Support Specialist (Fixed Term)
for our IT Department
based in our premises at Sindos, Thessaloniki
As an IT & Network Support Specialist, reporting directly to the IT Service Manager, you will be supporting day-to-day IT operations and network infrastructure across both corporate and operational technology (OT) environments. You will be responsible for managing service tickets, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network performance, and supporting end-users both on-site and remotely.
What you will be doing:
- Providing end-user support (L1 & L2) through a ticketing system
- Monitoring and maintaining IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, servers and printers
- Supporting LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, firewalls and Wi-Fi systems in collaboration with Global IT teams (Cisco, CATO, Palo Alto)
- Administering and supporting Microsoft 365 (O365 Admin Console) and related services
- Managing and supporting mobile devices using MDM platforms
- Collaborating with internal and Global IT teams on system upgrades and infrastructure projects
- Collaborating with OT teams, when required, to support connectivity and communication between IT and OT systems
- Following established guidelines for secure access and communication between IT and OT networks
- Maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to the technical knowledge base
What we are looking for
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Approximately 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in IT support or help desk roles (preferably L2, on-site)
- Ideally exposure to Operational Technology (OT) or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA will be an advantage
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure AD
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs)
- Basic knowledge of scripting (e.g., PowerShell) and remote support tools
- Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus
- Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken)·
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced multinational environment
