Job Description:

  • Become part of the company’s in-house Legal Department and support the Head of Legal in a wide range of legal, regulatory, and compliance matters.
  • Work closely with the company’s Regulatory department and monitor changes in international and national regulations, standards, and rules applicable to LALIZAS’ business areas, and ensure timely implementation of updates.
  • Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures in line with current legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of legal documents and contracts.
  • Conduct legal research across diverse legal areas including maritime, civil, commercial, real estate, and corporate law, both locally and internationally.
  • Manage legal and compliance aspects of various internal and external projects, ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and licensing requirements.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and certification authorities at both local and international levels.
  • Support the certification process of the company’s products, maintain records, and ensure ongoing compliance with relevant industry platforms.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to product regulatory compliance and documentation.
  • Monitor public tender announcements and prepare all necessary legal documents to support participation in tender processes.
  • Represent the company before courts, government departments, and regulatory bodies, when necessary.

 

Skills and experience:

  • Licensed Attorney with an educational background in civil & corporate law.
  • 2 years of relevant experience, ideally in a company, law firm, or multinational corporate environment.
  • Solid understanding of civil law, commercial law, real estate law, maritime regulations, and EU commercial law, including GDPR.
  • Proficiency in legal research on domestic and international legal platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in professional English.
  • Advanced organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Willingness to take initiative, manage multiple projects, and assume responsibility.
  • Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates).
