Sales Representative

Job Description:

  • Proactively identify, target, and develop new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industries, and new product opportunities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of key clients, building and nurturing long-term relationships.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by understanding their business needs, addressing concerns, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Analyze sales data and client feedback to suggest improvements and optimize customer experience.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices to inform business strategies.

 

Skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's in Maritime Safety, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in the marine/maritime industry is a prerequisite
  • Demonstrated success in a dual role combining sales and account management, consistently achieving or surpassing targets.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and German.
  • Expertise in MS Office applications, with exceptional proficiency in Excel for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Self-driven and goal-focused, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
