Lawyer

Job Description:

• Provide timely and accurate legal counsel to the management team and stakeholders.
• Review and draft legal documents and contracts to ensure they comply with corporate compliance laws.
• Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, paralegals, and support staff in legal matters.
• Develop and periodically update company policies on legal affairs.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research for partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
• Guide the company in navigating national and international corporate law landscapes.
• Evaluate ongoing and potential projects to ensure compliance with corporate law regulations.
• Collaborate closely with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as required.

Skills and experience:

• Educational background in Law/ Maritime Law
• Proven experience as a Lawyer, preferably in related industry.
• Expertise in commercial law, corporate governance, and business law.
• In-depth knowledge of national and international corporate legal regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex legal issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and guiding stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Fluency in English, additional languages are advantageous.
