Automation Engineering Assistant (Piraeus/Aegina)

Job Description:

• The specific job position involves a six-month placement in Piraeus and a six-month placement in Aegina
• Exploring opportunities and implementing ways for automation of systems
• Planning, implementing, monitoring and improving automated technology
• Designing programming and testing automation equipment and processes
• Identifying quality issues and writing reports
• Eliminating defects and errors with product and software development
• Collaborating with other business units to understand how you can use automation to improve workflow
• Simulating and testing automated machinery, method and functionality

Skills and experience:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in automation engineering, or similar field
• Configuring Management (CM) Software experience
• Experience with CCTV and alarm systems will be considered as an asset
• Proficiency in maintaining automation equipment
• Experience with robotics, AI, and machine learning
• Solid understanding of computer programming and software development
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform complex system tests
• Creative thinking, team spirit, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent manual dexterity
• Ability to travel and military obligations fulfilled (for male candidates)
