POSITION SUMMARY

Provide our customers with timely and accurate Inspection, maintenance, Servicing and installation of Fire Equipment systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform Firefighting Inspections per State and NFPA Codes.
  • Perform and assist in repair, maintenance and installation of new or existing Fire Protection systems.
  • Service of all portable and fixed firefighting or suppression systems on vessels
  • Understand and take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.
  • Prepare and review inspection reports, work orders and time reports.

Skills & abilities

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience: Previous fire protection systems inspector experience and working as a Marine Technician

Computer Skills: Basic

Certificates & Licenses Valid: Fire Marshal license for Fire Alarm and Fire Extinguishers.

Amount of Travel Required: 30-50%

Other Requirements: Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards. Must be able to obtain TWIC card.
