Group Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

• Thoroughly inspects buildings and repairs mechanical systems to ensure they comply with hygiene and safety standards
• Performs maintenance on electrical systems 
• Assists with the installation of ventilation, cooling, and other systems and makes repairs when necessary
• Maintains plumbing and heating systems to ensure their functionality
• Checks alarm systems (fire detection, security) and schedules repairs when needed
• Carries out manual repairs when necessary 
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots automated systems
• Performs general maintenance procedures and other tasks assigned to him
• Participates in and coordinates ad hoc projects

Skills and experience:

• Proven experience as maintenance technician
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
