R&D Project Engineer

Job Description:

·         Research, analyze, and benchmark competitor products to support the development of new and improved products.

·         Source and evaluate raw materials by collaborating with existing suppliers and identifying new sourcing opportunities to meet product requirements.

·         Conduct laboratory tests and experiments to evaluate raw materials and support product design, redesign, and validation, while accurately documenting and analyzing results.

·         Prepare, create, and update technical drawings for product components and related documentation.

·         Support the introduction of new products into mass production by coordinating product transfer activities and preparing the required documentation, materials, and quality standards.

·         Build and assemble prototypes, samples, and test units for research and development activities.

·         Provide administrative support to the R&D department, including coordinating and tracking courier shipments and deliveries.

·         Maintain and update departmental records, documentation, and databases to ensure accurate, organized, and readily accessible information.

 

Skills and experience:

·         Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.

·         2–3 years of experience in Research & Development, Product Development, Manufacturing, or a similar engineering role.

·         Proficiency in 3D CAD software, such as SOLIDWORKS, CATIA, or PTC Creo (Pro/ENGINEER).

·         Experience creating and modifying 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings.

·         Knowledge of product development processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques.

·         Hands-on engineering experience in prototype assembly, testing, and the use of workshop or laboratory equipment is highly preferred.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

·         Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

·         Strong communication and collaboration skills.

·         Good command of written and spoken English.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
