Job Description:
- Proactively identify, target, and develop new business opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industries, and new product opportunities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of key clients, building and nurturing long-term relationships.
- Ensure client satisfaction by understanding their business needs, addressing concerns, and providing tailored solutions.
- Analyze sales data and client feedback to suggest improvements and optimize customer experience.
- Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices to inform business strategies.
Skills and experience:
- Bachelor's in Maritime Safety, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in the marine/maritime industry is a prerequisite
- Demonstrated success in a dual role combining sales and account management, consistently achieving or surpassing targets.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and German.
- Expertise in MS Office applications, with exceptional proficiency in Excel for data analysis and manipulation.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Self-driven and goal-focused, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
