About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Payroll & Compensation Manager to join our People, Talent & Organization team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and efficient management of payroll operations, compensation processes, and employee benefits administration, while maintaining full compliance with labor legislation and company policies.

This role is ideal for a professional with strong payroll expertise, analytical thinking, and a people-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full ownership and management of the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely execution
  • Management of employee working time data (shifts, attendance, overtime) in a multi-site retail environment
  • Ensure the updating and maintaining the HR Information System data.
  • Ensuring full compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, social security obligations, and internal company policies
  • Preparation of payroll reports, analytics, and cost/budgeting data for HR and Finance teams
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding payroll, compensation, and benefits matters

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in payroll administration and compensation management
  • Strong knowledge of Greek labor law, payroll processes, taxation, and social security regulations
  • Proven experience working with ERGANI and payroll & HR systems, preferably Epsilon HRM (Pylon)
  • Experience in high-volume or multi-site payroll environments (retail or similar operations preferred)
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive data with confidentiality and accountability
