About the Role:
At KAFKAS, Building Technology Solutions are about enabling smarter, safer and more efficient buildings through reliable electrical, automation, connectivity and protection solutions.

We are looking for an Assistant Product Manager – Building Technology Solutions to join our Buying team and support the development and commercial performance of product categories related to building automation, UPS, DIN rail components, electrical panels, access control, security, fire detection and structured cabling.

This is a great opportunity for a professional with analytical thinking, commercial mindset, and interest in smart building technologies, who wants to grow in product management and develop expertise in building infrastructure and technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Product Managers in the daily monitoring and development of building technology  product categories.
  • Analyze sales, pricing, stock and market data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Assist in product portfolio management, including product updates, new product launches and category performance tracking
  • Participate in pricing, margin and commercial actions through data preparation and analysis
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to collect product information, technical specifications and commercial updates
  • Work closely with Demand Planning, Sales, Marketing and other teams to strengthen product availability, promotional actions and category performance
  • Prepare reports, presentations and product-related material to enable business decisions and internal communication
  • Gradually develop solid understanding of the category, its products and market dynamics, while gradually taking on increased responsibilities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–2 years of experience in product management, category management, procurement, sales support, marketing, business analysis or a related commercial role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Interest in building technology solutions, smart building systems, electrical equipment, technical products or B2B commercial environments
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to work with data in a structured way
  • Very good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Analytical thinking, attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with different teams.
  • Commercial perception, curiosity and willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SAP, CRM or previous experience in the lighting/electrical equipment market will be considered an asset.
