Android Developer

Role: As an Android Developer you will be responsible for developing, testing and maintaining mobile apps.

What you will do:

·        Develop, test and maintain Android mobile apps using Kotlin or Flutter

·        Design and implementation of responsive UI with a focus on improving user experience

·        Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend developers to integrate end-to-end solutions

·        Implement best practices for application performance, security and scalability

·        Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to improve code quality

·        Integrate third-party APIs and tools (e.g., Firebase, Google Play Services)

·        Monitor new trends and technologies in mobile development and apply them to development processes

·        Coaching and mentoring junior colleagues, providing guidance and support in their development
 

Required Qualifications:

·        University or College Degree in Computer Science

·        3+ years of experience in Android mobile app development using Kotlin or Flutter

·        Experience in full-cycle app development (design, development, testing, release, and support)

·        Strong skills in Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, or the Flutter framework

·        Experience with RESTful APIs and WebSockets for app communication

·        Good knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git)

·        Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps (e.g., Bitrise, GitHub Actions, or

Azure DevOps)

·        Excellent understanding of mobile app design principles, including the Material Design Guidelines
 

 Desirable Qualifications:

·        Experience with other mobile platforms or languages, such as Swift, React Native or Objective-C

·        Knowledge of analytics and monitoring tools (e.g., Crashlytics, App Analytics)

·        Certification in platforms such as Google Certified Associate Android Developer

·        Experience developing cross-platform applications with Flutter
