Job description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance in line with legislation and all system processes including quality and safety, implementation of quality management actions and contributing to the development of company policies and procedures.  Ongoing learning in Group Hotels and project management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Hotel Managers and HODs to establish, maintain and optimize QMS in all group properties
  • Ensures full compliance of hotel SOPs, policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Ensures H&S compliance in line with local and international legislation, as well as ABTA-FTO regulations.
  • Enhances approach to sustainability and establish key steps for waste management and energy efficiency.
  • Works closely with the HR Department to establish, maintain and optimize HR processes.
  • Cooperates with the Purchasing Department to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
  • Identify relevant quality-related training needs and deliver training to ensure procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated.
  • Serves as a key contact for external partners.
  • Ensures all QM deliverables are achieved in a compliant timely manner.

 Qualifications:

  • Business School / Hotel School Degree [master’s degree is desirable]
  • Excellent command of MS Office
  • Fluency in English
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's license

Skills and experience:

  • Experience in Hotel Quality or Operations departments
  • Experience in QMS systems and health & safety processes is preferred
  • Administration and scheduling
  • Willingness to learn in a challenging environment
