The Regional Hotel Revenue Manager is a strategic and analytical role responsible for maximizing group hotels profitability through effective revenue, pricing, and inventory management practices. You will leverage data, market trends, and competitor analysis to develop and implement pricing strategies, optimize distribution channels, and drive overall revenue growth. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the hotels achieve their financial goals and maintains a competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement revenue management strategies to optimize room revenue and occupancy levels.
  • Conduct market research, monitor and analyze competitor pricing, and track industry trends to develop data-driven pricing strategies.
  • Manage room inventory allocation to optimize occupancy and revenue across various guest segments (business, leisure, groups).
  • Set and adjust room rates in real-time to maximize revenue based on market demand and competitor activity.
  • Develop and implement dynamic pricing strategies to capture the most revenue during peak seasons and attract guests during slower periods.
  • Prepare accurate revenue forecasts and budgets to guide hotels’ operations and financial planning.
  • Utilize revenue management software and tools to forecast demand and make data-driven decisions.
  • Analyze booking data and guest behavior to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Develop targeted promotions and packages to attract specific guest segments and increase bookings.
  • Monitor and analyze revenue management performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop pricing strategies for group bookings, promotions, packages, MICE and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Provide training and support to other hotels’ departments on revenue management principles.
  • Stay up to date on the latest revenue management technologies and industry trends.
  • Implement strategies to increase revenue from ancillary services, such as food and beverage, parking, spa etc.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certification in revenue management (e.g., CRME) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in revenue management software and Excel. (e.g., Fidelio, IDeaS, Duetto etc.).
  • Proven experience in hotel revenue management, preferably in a managerial role in a large hotel group.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with hotel distribution channels (OTAs, GDS).
  • Strong understanding of market segmentation and pricing strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry and market dynamics.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
