Gefsinus is one of the largest contract catering companies, operating in the field of F&B management in Greece and covers foods needs in sectors such as Companies and Industrial Units, Public and Private Educational Institutions (Universities, Private Schools – Colleges), Hospital Institutions.

Gefsinus is serving daily 70.000 people and specializes in three types of activities:

·       Production of meals in the Central Production Unit and delivery to clients

·       Operation of F&B restaurants in the client’s premises

·       Planning & execution of corporate events

We are currently seeking a Junior Buyer (Βοηθός Αγοραστή) to join and strengthen our Purchasing team on its premises (Krioneri-Attica) and assisting in planning, selecting, and purchasing quantities of goods and merchandise.

His/her responsibilities will be focused in the following areas:

·       Liaise with existing suppliers and negotiate contracts

·       Source and build relations with new suppliers

·       Monitor market changes, competitor prices, and products

·       Excellent file maintenance system of purchase requests, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and other important documentation

·       Maintain excellent communication with suppliers

Desired qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field

·       At least 1-2 years of working experience in a similar position, preferably in FMCG company

·       Prior experience in food industries/fruits & vegetables market, will be appreciated

·       Familiar with ERP systems, preferably Entersoft

·       Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask

·       Proficient in English, both oral and written

·       Excellent knowledge of MS-Office
