Our Asia Pacific business operates out of our modern facilities located at Yatala. 

The company has a strong technical base in extrusion, bag-making, and printing.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Plant Maintenance Fitter to support and maintain our production facility at our premises in Yatala.  

Reporting to the Plant Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing and maintaining maintenance programs to achieve machine and line efficiencies and minimise downtime.

You must be proactive in investigating failures and making recommendations to reduce risk and improve systems / processes.

Key responsibilities

• Providing an efficient mechanical maintenance engineering service to our manufacturing facility according to maintenance, quality and safety systems.
• Analyze faults and actively engaging in initiatives to improve reliability.
• Assist and co-ordinate external contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain maintenance records.
• Manage critical spares and inventory.
• Monitor, develop and implement preventative maintenance program
• Involvement and monitoring of the maintenance budget spend
• Optimization projects to improve productivity and processes.

Skills and Experience:

• Have previous mechanical and pneumatic experience. Electrical, PLC experience would be an advantage.
• Ability to fault find, problem solve and troubleshoot, thinking outside the square.
• Possess excellent communications, be a team player.
• Exhibit initiative and be motivated.
• Possess reliable transport and drivers license.
• Maintain a high level of safety
• Forklift License would be an advantage
• Reliability, ongoing commitment and a willingness to go the extra mile
