Flexopack, a leading flexible packaging company with a global footprint, is looking to hire an energetic individual to join its Quality Assurance department. The position will be based in Koropi, Attiki.

                                                                                       Junior Quality Assurance Officer

Main duties and responsibilities:

 ·         Supports the Organizational and Operational activities of Quality Assurance Department.

·         Maintains necessary internal and external documentation and records.

·         Provides input to Production on the process system in order to develop or upgrade existing quality procedures.

·         Monitors the defined Corrective/Preventive Actions and risks.

·         Ensures strict adherence and compliance to plant Quality Management System and BRCGS/HACCP requirements:

a)       Internal Quality Audits and Hygiene Audits regarding product safety.

b)      Continuous monitoring of food-contact legislation and changes in relevant regulations.

c)       Collecting of “Declarations of Conformance” with the actual legislation, analyses of special customer requirements (questionnaires, safety statements).

d)      Monitoring of database with suppliers’ certifications for completeness and validity.

e)      Monitoring the product compliance testing.

f)        Organization of staff Hygiene Training.

·         Plans strategies to optimize manufacturing capabilities, systems and equipment working in accordance with ISO & BRCGS/HACCP Principles.

·         Supports any external/second-party audits.

·         Monitors all operations that affect quality. 

·         Appraises customers’ requirements and makes sure they are satisfied. 

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

 ·         BSc Degree in Biology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Food technology. 

·         MSc Degree in Quality Management or relevant field will be considered an asset.

·         Fluent oral and written skills in Greek & in English

·         Computer literacy

·         Experience or Training on ISO / HACCP/ BRCGS

·         Previous Experience will be considered an asset

·         Team Spirit

·         Ability to work under pressure
