Sales Representative

Foodlink SA, a leading commercial distributor of renowned brands such as Nature Valley, Häagen-Dazs, Pop Bakery, Old El Paso, Dr. Oetker, Milka, and Cadbury, is seeking a highly motivated and creative Sales Representative to join our Sales Team.

Responsibilities

As a Sales Representative, you will:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail clients in your designated area.
• Implement customer account activity plans and execute in-store activities aligned with the Sales Management team’s guidelines.
• Monitor and optimize promotional plans and in-store activities to enhance brand presence.
• Conduct effective follow-ups based on the monthly sales plan.
• Negotiate for stands, secondary placements, and displays to maximize sales opportunities.
• Achieve sales, market share, distribution targets, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify new business opportunities and propose sales strategies.
• Analyze the category and shopper behavior, providing insightful feedback.
• Monitor competitor activities and report findings to management.
• Perform store visits, manage order-taking, and ensure excellent customer service.
• Educate clients on product features, benefits, and usage for enhanced satisfaction and loyalty.
• Address shopper complaints by conducting visits, collecting samples, and providing feedback.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar FMCG role (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain client relationships.
• Team-oriented with a results-driven mindset.
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Fluency in English (both verbal and written).
• Valid driver’s license.
