Freight Forwarder – Road Freight Operations

Foodlink S.A., a leading provider in 3rd Party Logistics and a proud member of the FDL Group, is looking for a dedicated Freight Forwarder to join our Road Freight Operations Department. With nearly 30 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, we offer cutting-edge, technology-driven solutions to both Greek and international companies.
Role Overview
As a Freight Forwarder, your primary focus will be managing and optimizing road freight import operations from Italy and Spain to Greece. This dynamic role involves close coordination with clients and partners, ensuring seamless transportation flows and the successful end-to-end execution of shipments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily freight forwarding activities for road freight imports
- Coordinate offers, CMR documentation, arrival notices, and scheduling of deliveries and receipts
- Handle and monitor import-related documents, including invoices
- Liaise with clients, agents, and carriers to ensure efficient shipment execution
- Assign and monitor loading orders to logistics partners
- Ensure accuracy of shipment records and compliance with applicable logistics regulations
- Actively contributes to team development by sharing knowledge and best practices
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in a freight forwarding or logistics company
- Fluency in English (written & verbal); additional knowledge of Spanish or Italian is highly valued
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a high-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
