Contract Logistics Manager

FDL Group, one of the leading 3PL providers in Greece, is seeking a Contract Logistics Manager to join our team and lead the efficient execution of warehousing and distribution operations.

🔍 Role Overview

As a Contract Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing warehousing workflows, managing teams, and ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective handling of goods. You will play a key role in performance management, process optimization, and new business implementations within our logistics network.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

✔ Manage daily warehouse operations, including workflow, team coordination, and process execution
✔ Monitor quality, quantity, cost, and efficiency of goods movement and storage
✔ Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security standards
✔ Optimize warehouse processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
✔ Allocate and manage staff resources according to operational needs
✔ Track and analyze performance and quality KPIs; propose corrective actions in collaboration with Shift Leaders and Customer Service
✔ Lead coaching and training initiatives by supervising ongoing training programs and defining future staff development needs
✔ Support the setup of new contracts and logistics operations

🔹 Ideal Profile

✔ University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering
✔ Postgraduate qualification in Logistics and/or Transport (a plus)
✔ 5+ years of experience in a similar warehouse management role
✔ Proven experience in team leadership and staff performance management
✔ Results-oriented and proactive with strong decision-making capabilities
✔ Analytical mindset with a structured and solution-driven approach
✔ Comfortable working under pressure and managing priorities in a dynamic environment
✔ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
✔ Advanced proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
