To strengthen our team in Madrid, we are looking for an experienced and results-driven individual to join us as Lean Manufacturing Manager, leading the implementation of the FAMAR Production System (FPS) and driving continuous improvement across our operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous development of the FAMAR Production System (FPS) across the site.
• Drive Continuous Improvement programmes, including Hoshin Planning and SQCDP initiatives, in collaboration with all departments.
• Identify, prioritize and implement Lean initiatives to improve productivity, quality, efficiency and overall operational performance.
• Analyze production capacity and identify opportunities to optimize operational performance.
• Monitor production bottlenecks and lead initiatives to improve process flow and efficiency.
• Analyze production methods, workflows and timelines to ensure optimal resource utilization and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional process improvement projects, monitor KPIs and ensure successful delivery of improvement objectives.
• Lead problem-solving activities using Lean methodologies and support root cause analysis across the organization.
• Monitor Lean performance through the Lean Tracker and other operational indicators, ensuring delivery of cost-saving initiatives (OPEX & COGS).
• Deliver Lean training and coaching across all organizational levels while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and other departments to extend Lean principles across all plant operations.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO and EHS requirements.
   

Your Profile

• University Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies, Continuous Improvement tools and project management.
• Experience with SAP, TrackWise or similar manufacturing systems.
• Hands-on mindset with the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to align cross-functional teams and resolve production challenges.
• Resilient and adaptable, with excellent problem-solving and conflict management skills.
• Advanced English communication skills.
