Market Risk and ORSA Officer

We are looking for a Market Risk and ORSA Officer to join our team at Eurolife FFH General Insurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing market risk exposures and leading the Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA) process. This role ensures compliance with Solvency II requirements, supports strategic decision-making, and maintains a robust risk management framework aligned with the company’s business plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, measure, and monitor market risk exposures, including interest rate, equity, currency, and concentration risks.
  • Perform stress testing and scenario analysis for major market risk drivers.
  • Monitor asset-liability mismatches and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate and execute the ORSA process at least annually and whenever significant changes occur.
  • Prepare ORSA reports, including forward-looking solvency projections and capital adequacy assessments.
  • Participate in risk-related committees and contribute to strategic risk decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to Solvency II and other regulatory requirements.
  • Validate SCR calculations and coverage ratios.
  • Review and update risk management policies related to market risk and ORSA.
  • Support the development of contingency plans and business continuity strategies.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years in market risk management and ORSA within insurance or financial services.
  • Knowledge of Solvency II, risk modeling, and capital adequacy frameworks.
  • Proficiency in risk management tools and reporting systems.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to influence risk culture.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  •  Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
