Junior Property Underwriter, Corporate Property

We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven Junior Property Underwriter to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the underwriting function by assessing new and existing property risks, contributing to the development of sound underwriting decisions in line with company guidelines.

Role Responsibilities

• Analyze prospective property risks and prepare quotes, terms & conditions, and rates in line with internal underwriting guidelines
• Gather, review, and assess background information, including reports and records from internal and external specialists, to effectively evaluate property-related risks
• Support and contribute to team projects, including enhancements to property product offerings, launch of new products, and improvements to systems, policies, and processes
• Prepare underwriting reports, activity reports, and spreadsheets
• Support and promote the company culture by demonstrating behaviors aligned with the organization’s values

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• BA/BS degree or equivalent
• 2–5 years’ experience within Insurance, preferably with exposure to Property underwriting
• Strong numeracy and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Results-oriented mindset with motivation for continuous learning and development
• Excellent command of the English language
• Proficient use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
