We are a large, profitable, and continuously growing Insurance Group, one of the main leaders in the Greek market and we are seeking to recruit a Junior Investment Officer.  We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented professional, an individual with a well knowledge of investments.

Main Responsibilities:

• Working closely with Investment Portfolio Manager on daily liquidity management.
• Utilizing investment IT systems and/or portals to facilitate processes and maintain records and create reports.
• Assisting with the implementation of investments-related procedures and policies
• Supporting the monthly investment reporting closing process for both local and group reporting purposes.
• Performing the production of monthly, quarterly, or ad hoc basis investment reports.
• Assessing the appropriate treatment of investments under IFRS 9 & IFRS 17.
• Supporting the annual Business Plan along with the SAA/ALM exercises.
• Delivering responses to initiatives set by the Head of Investments.

Candidate Profile

At least 2 years of work experience in Investment Department/Treasury.

Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/business administration or similar. Master’s degree is desirable but not mandatory.

Understanding of investments, statistics and economics and ability to work on financial models.

Familiarity with excel, word and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of IFRS 9 is preferred.

Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.

Strong communication skills, verbal and written, both in Greek and English.

Team player who is effective in collaborating with others.

CFA certification and/or previous working experience in the Insurance sector will be considered an asset.
