We are looking for a qualified and trustworthy Bank Channel & VIP Retail Sales Account Executive to join our team, in order to develop our VIP Retail clientele by building long-term relationships with clients, cross selling, up selling and overseeing B2B sales.
Role responsibilities
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with VIP Retail clients and Bank Channel officers & liaisons.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Promote and sell tailored insurance products and solutions that best meet clients’ needs.
- Grow and develop existing client accounts while actively seeking new business development opportunities.
- Identify and leverage cross-selling opportunities within the current client base and new prospects.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts, providing high-quality customer service and guidance.
- Develop long-term, trust-based relationships with clients to ensure retention and satisfaction.
- Management of insurance quotes – Utilize the online pricing systems of insurance companies and manage the process of obtaining quotes from insurers.
- Use Designia Insurance Brokers’ management system to prepare and submit insurance applications and any other essential documentation.
- Ensure all client and sales activities are updated in corporate systems and platforms in a timely and accurate manner to maintain consistency and compliance.
- Stay informed on the latest insurance market trends, product offerings, and competitors.
- Prepare accurate reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
Knowledge, skills & experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- University degree in Business Administration or relevant field. Postgraduate studies will be considered a plus
- 5+ years of experience in relevant position in the insurance sector, preferably in an insurance broker
- Experience in B2B sales and business partnering
- Tech savvy with proficiency in using online tools and systems
- Excellent command of the English language
- Clear and effective communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills for managing tasks and accounts efficiently
- Ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience with attention to detail
- Results-oriented with a strategic mindset for achieving sales targets
- Genuine passion for the insurance sector and staying informed about industry trends
