About the job

The successful candidate will take part in the product development process of ES Systems’ new products based on a multitude of sensors. He / She will be undertaking the design efforts for the necessary PCB design, based on modern technologies and substrate materials, along with the necessary embedded programming necessary to add “smart” functionalities to the sensors. The candidate should have a solid experience with a track record of circuit understanding and embedded programming of micro-controllers mainly in C language.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Language Requirements

• University Degree of Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, or equivalent science
• Proven work experience of 5 years and more
• Proven experience in embedded programming for ARM or other microcontrollers and microprocessors
• Good knowledge of at least one popular RTOS, such as Zephyr or FreeRTOS
• Hands-on experience with Nordic or ST microcontrollers and Microchip MCUs; familiar with VS Code, STM32CubeIDE and MPLAB X IDE
• Excellent understanding of signal conditioning of sensor systems Data Acquisitions and Analysis
• High level programming in C, C++
• Technical writing of reports and systems datasheets
• Team oriented with excellent communication and cooperation skills
• Proficiency in the English language is a must

Nice to have

• Experience in the field of wireless communication such as BLE, ZigBee, WiFi, LoRa and other wireless protocols
• Experience in VHDL programming for FPGA devices
• Experience with lab equipment and metrology
• Experience with the reliability aspect of products
• Electrical Design (PCB schematic / Layout)
• LabView programming
• Architectural sensor system design
